Michael Ely, MS, CSP
Mike is the Senior Environmental, Health and Safety Manager for ESS. Before joining ESS, Mike spent 5 years as a compliance safety and health officer for the Public Employment Risk Reduction Program, 20 years as an industrial and construction safety consultant and 7 years as the safety technical advisor for the Division of Safety and Hygiene. Mike holds a bachelors degree in business management from Capital University and a master’s degree in occupational safety and health from East Carolina University. He is a Certified Safety Professional and a professional member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
As a consultant his services include hazard identification inspections, training, and written program evaluations for all applicable federal OSHA regulations. Mike is an authorized trainer for the federal OSHA General Industry and Construction Standards Outreach Training Program. Mike has trained employers and employees from the public and private sectors and has made presentations around the State of Ohio to a variety of organizations.
Troy Luke, MS
Troy is a graduate of Miami University where he received a Bachelor of Arts & Science degree in Public Personnel Management in 1988. In 2005, he completed his certification course work for Middle School and High School Mathematics at the University of Cincinnati. Troy has taught mathematics with the Cincinnati Public Schools for 24 years and brings a wealth of knowledge and professionalism to the organization. Troy began his work with the company as a Safety Auditor and has worked five years with Environmental & Safety Solutions, Inc.
In 2015, Troy completed his Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health and Environmental Management at Columbia Southern University. Troy works as an Environmental Health & Safety Manager and concentrates his efforts in the areas of Construction and Power Plant Safety, conducts and manages machine hazard risks assessments, manages Field Safety Auditors and provides management support on environmental projects.
Elaine Harris
Elaine joined Environmental and Safety Solutions, Inc. in 2013 as the Sourcing Specialist. She quickly proved herself to be an invaluable asset to the company and was promoted to the Sourcing Manager in 2014. She began her career as an auditor and administrator before spending eight years supporting the Ohio Valley Division of Atlantic Plant Maintenance, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of the General Electric Company. She is a graduate from Southern State where she graduated in 2012.
Roshaun Laudat
Roshaun Laudat joined the team in 2014 as an administrative contractor, and quickly demonstrated her talent in working with potential staff members and community partners. After completing her degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton, Roshaun was promoted to Sourcing Specialist. Prior to joining ESS, Roshaun worked with United Healthcare as a staffing recruiter and trainer. She is also an accomplished athletic coach and published author.
